A HIDDEN PALACE in Museum Negara Station


Museum Negara Station - Kajang MRT

As we know National museum is a place where people can understand and learn about the history of the country. The Muzium Negara station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station in Kuala Lumpur-Kajang linethe National Museum (Muzium Negara) built in the style of a Malay palace is the guardian of the nation’s history.Muzium Negara was officially opened by His Majesty, the Third Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Syed Putra Al-Haj Ibni Al-Marhum Syed Hassan Jamalullail on 31st August 1963.

After came out from the station you will see there are 2 huge tall buildings right opposite the "Muzium Negara". Which are OCBC bank building and Q Sentral building, it looks legit massive.

As we step into the national museum, it looks really massive and decent. They have flags, statues, spray pond and all kind of stuff.

Due to we were running out of time, we didn't manage to get into the museum to capture photos but just able to visit the free zone provided by the museum.

Instruction and guideline for visitors
When come to the free visit zone, even it was free but things for us to discover. Such as the"Istana Satu, old trains, cannons, history of nation vehicle, statue, minibus and etc.

2. Canon 

This is the canon was used it in the war at Malaysia in the old days.

3. Malasia local vehicle "Proton"

Proton is a brand of Malaysia's vehicle, it's popular and common in Malaysia. Basically, there is 3 generation of Proton so here are the generations of Protons.

4. Train

In those days, people started to use train already as a transportation to travel from places to places. This is the first which were used in Malaysia.

5. Statue

The statue involves Sir Frank Athelstane Swettenham and The King of United Kingdom "Edward VIII"

By Bus: RapidKL Bus No.115 (KL City Shuttle RM2) from Sentral KL
By Train: Disembark at KL Sentral and walk along the pedestrian path for 0.5 km to Muzium Negara.
